Party Classes – 2 to 12 Years Old
Do you want a birthday party with a real difference? One that allows your child and their friends to have fun while at the same time learn about good nutrition? Then a cooking party is the way to go.
This no fuss party allows moms to spend quality time with their tots creating exciting and healthy dishes in a child friendly environment, without worrying about the mess that follows.
A little Cooks Club birthday party allows your child to be creative in the kitchen and learn the basics of cooking.
At little Cooks Club we promote moderation and encourage healthy eating habits. Therefor our activity options include 1 “healthy” and 1 “naughty” option.
This programme is designed by a qualified Chef and member of the South African Chef’s Association, Christine Phillips & Paediatric Dietician, Katherine Megaw).

The idea of a cooking party is ideal for little girls of 6 years old who in my opinion are too little to have many of the “grown-up” party ideas that are common today. I liked the fact that they had a naughty and healthy dish to prepare – and of course the lemonade with fancy glasses was a hit! I found your facility very clean, bright and organized as compared to the other venues I saw. Of course the play area with the synthetic grass was also safe and clean to play in. I will definitely recommend your particular venue any time. All the moms were impressed and the kids had an absolute ball. You were also very accommodating to the preparations leading up to the party and also in organizing party packs etc. I would like to thank you for making Mikayla’s day special!”
The classes are held at a Little Cooks Club franchise location.
NUMBER OF KIDS
Ages 2 to 5 with parent supervision – maximum 12/14 kids
Ages 4 to 12 without parent supervision – maximum 16/20 kids
NOTE: if your chosen options include knife work parent supervision is required irrespective of age group.
DURATION
The special party class is done over a period of 2 hours.
- A R500 non-refundable venue booking fee secures your booking where it is paid with your “Party registration” notification. This registration form must be emailed/faxed to us two full weeks prior to your party.
- The host parent on entering LITTLE COOKS CLUB must sign the indemnity form.
- 50% Payment (non-refundable) is due 10 days prior to the party date. Balance due on the day of the party.
- Final numbers need to be confirmed 7 days prior to the party and will be charged accordingly.
- No food, sweets, cakes, alcohol, etc. (with the exception of a birthday cake) maybe brought onto the premises without prior consent of LCC.
No external suppliers e.g. jumping castles, magicians, balloons and external decorators may be brought in without prior consent of LCC. A R100 charge per supplier will be levied for the use of external suppliers.
- Children arrive and make their own fresh lemonade in take-away cups that they have decorated with coloured sugar upon arrival.
- First activity as chosen from the “healthy” option list
- Cake time – take a break and do the birthday wish and use other venue facilities. Venue facilities include all or some of toys, sandpits, dolls houses, a jungle-gym and trampoline. This allows the children to regroup for the next cooking activity.
- Second activity from the “naughty” option list
- Creations get packaged and party packs handed out.
We offer 2 party time slots from 10h00 – 12h00 and 14h00 – 16h00
Cost of Package per child – R150
Class program excluding a party pack. A themed invitation in PDF format is included.

Further items can be added to the standard party pack at an additional cost as listed below:
- LCC Apron – R120
- LCC T-shirt in pink/ blue (ages 2 – 6) – R60
- LCC Golf Shirt for older children – R100
- For the adults, the package includes fresh lemonade, tea and coffee at no extra charge
- For the children, the package includes fruit juice and water as refreshments as well as the lemonade they make at the start of the class.
- NO ADDITIONAL VENUE OR STAFF CHARGE
- NO ADDITIONAL CATERING REQUIRED
The package does NOT include:
- A birthday cake
- Any sweets other than that made by the children as part of their activities
- Any decorations
- Party packs for younger siblings not doing the class.
